I haven't written in this thing in forever and SO much has happened to me. I don't have time right now to write out everything but the short version:

I have a boyfriend! Devon and I met on myspace in February and he lives less than half an hour away. He's very sweet, caring and takes good care of me. I love his family too, they rock. His mom and sister are huge fans of the Phantom of the Opera. lol...I get along with almost everyone I've been introduced to, which is a good thing.  More about that and photos coming later, when I get the roll of film developed...

Mom and I are going to see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway in NYC today. Woot woot! Details and pix from NY coming soon too....

I completely went off my diet the last couple of weeks. I need to get back on it again. Blahh...

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been so busy lately, I feel like my head is spinning around. *lol*  Laterz ya'll.

I feel at peace now with the previous situation. On Friday, I found a website that helped me understand some stuff and I learned a lot about myself from it. It felt good to let go of shit going on in my head. I know now that I can't beat myself up for what happened but that there is a lesson to be learned from it. I've realized and accepted that there are things that I don't have any control over and to let God do his work in the situation. I feel like I can move on now and become a better person.

Also, another great stress has been lifted from my shoulders....Hallelujah, we don't have to move. I really didn't want to lose my childhood home. Thank you, Dad.  You know why.

Today I watched Random Harvest. That movie is so cute. Of course, I cried.  Donna and I also had too much fun playing miniature golf and tower blasters on myspace games. lol  If you haven't checked out these games yet, I totally reccomend it:  http://games.myspace.com

I'm seriously thinking about taking some college courses in Graphic Design. I'm still in the early stages of that though so I'm gonna need to work on getting some money saved first. I'll need a lot of financial aid, as well.

I'm getting so excited about going to see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway in a couple months. Weeee, what fun. I can hardly believe it. What a fantastic early bday present. *lol*

I made a big mistake this week and I feel horrible for it.  I made an assumption that wasn't true about something. I'd rather not talk about it in detail.

I suck. I'm a dumbass. But now I guess I can learn something from this experience and move on....

Working some more on music. I started writing a song the other day. Hopefully I'll get some more ideas for it this weekend and maybe finish it but I'm doubt it. lol

Haven't been able to get a hold of Dad for awhile. He hasn't been feeling well a lot lately. We think he may have MS. blahhhh

I'm thinking about going to tradeschool or something for graphics...Not sure where though. That's still in the early stages.

Trying to lose weight but I'm a dumbass and I keep cheating. I need to ask mom if we can eliminate some of the crap that i'm snacking on. *lol* Atleast the one thing is yogurt so that's healthy. The granola bars aren't though...I can't stop eating that shit, it's actually quite pathetic.

Thinking about getting my haircut next week or something. I just heard they went up in price though, does that suck or what? Eventually I'll have it dyed too. I need a makeover, I think. I want a new edgier look for "LaRue" when I do this photoshoot or whatever in the spring for our music. I have plans to do a myspace music page for my music eventually too, but first I'd like some pix and I need to come up with an idea for the "biography". Hmm...no clue. lol

Damn right, Foamy. I agree 100% ...and what the hell is this about people wanting the Christmas tree in NYC to be changed to the "holiday" tree. I'm borrowing this from someone on LD: next, the Hannuakah menorah will be called the "Holiday candleholder"..I mean really, wtf? Why are people getting so offended? If you don't celebrate Christmas and someone happens to wish you a "Merry Christmas" or whatnot by simple mistake....it's so easy just to correct them and say "I'm sorry, I don't celebrate Christmas"...Why does EVERYTHING have to be so politically correct.

Saw a BK commercial today that really made me have a 'WTF' moment. In honor of the new King Kong movie, BK is apparently doing a "Kong-sized sandwich"...The thing is fucking HUGE. I can't even get through a kids meal sandwich. Who the hell eats sandwiches that size?! I mean hello...damn, no wonder this country has an obesity problem. Who is going to eat a sandwich half the size of a mac truck?!?!?! You'd have a heck of a time even taking a bite out of this thing without it falling apart on you- that's how big it is.

Oh and speaking of commercials...What is up with those recent ones for KFC?! Why are they playing "Sweet Home Alabama"? The 'K' in KFC stands for KENTUCKY.  Am I the only one who is bothered by this? *lol*

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. I'm pretty excited. I get to go over and visit with Dad and Stace and we'll do the traditional thing with Stace's family. I love the dinners there, we always have so much fun. Last year I got my first sampling of Christmas champagne. It was so tasty! I plan to have some more again this year if I'm offered.

Then on Sunday I'll be with Mom and my big beautiful blend fam @ Pop n Grandmas. Sweet

I'm still trying to get into the Christmas spirit. For some reason, I just haven't been feelin it yet the way I should. That happened sorta last year too. I don't know what's up with me. I must go to listen to some more Xmas music and watch some more movies while I finish wrapping presents and doing Christmas cards and junk.

I didn't go all out on Christmas presents and stuff, which made me feel slightly guilty when I didn't have some for a few people who gave me in return. Those of you who didn't receive one, you know I love you..right?

I've been sick since Sunday night or Monday. Really sucks. It keeps getting worse. Started as a slight throat infection. Now it's a full-out cold w/ infection. BLAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Finished 'Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince' the other day...If you haven't read it yet, don't look at the following paragraph (spoilers):

Why did Dumbledore have to bite it? Man, that sucked, so sad. I got to the end of the chapter and gasped. I wasn't expecting him to go until #7 if they were going to kill him off. I'm debating whether or not Snape really is evil OR if he did what he did because of the unbreakable vow to help Draco and if he will redeem himself in book 7. Also, what did Snape mean when he was so offended when Harry called him a coward? ..and when Dumbledore was pleading with Snape, did he mean "Please don't do it" or "Please kill me?"  HMM...So many questions that JK Rowling has to answer. It's gonna be such a long wait until the final book. Wheeee...She's got me completely hooked! lol....Yes, I've been suffering from slight muggle envy....I want to be a wizard and go to Hogwarts! lmao....The only thing that scares me are the curses...imperius, cruciatius, and avada kadabra (I'm too tired to look it up if I spelled them correctly or not)....But the whole rest of the books really fascinated me. I would love to be able to do a patronus (hence the layout) and have an owl who delivers my mail.

Speaking of owls, my boss got me one for Christmas...Well, not really. But coiincidentally, she got me this cute mug in the shape of an owl's face. It's really cute. I told her it looked like something straight out of Harry Potter. *lol* I loved it. 

N/Ewho I need to go do some more Christmas present wrapping..so that's all for now. I put the Harry layout back up for the time being...but who knows how long it will be up. Maybe I'll just switch back and forth or something. Laterz ya'll.
